My wife was diagnosed with complex endometriosis with deep infiltration in the UK. After being on the NHS waitlist for months, we decided to explore treatment abroad. We looked at different options, but after speaking to Dr Plevris, we knew immediately that he was the doctor we would like to handle my wife’s case. He explained in great detail what my wife’s treatment would involve in a way that took away any anxiety we had before the consultation. He was very responsive in answering our questions and providing the relevant documentation we needed for our travel arrangements. Upon arriving in Greece, his wonderful secretary, Ms Pothiti, was already waiting for us at the hospital’s lounge to receive us. She helped us to complete all the pre-op activities before finally taking us to Dr Plevris for the final pre-op consultation. Ms Pothiti was simply incredible! Dr Plevris and his team did a great job in the theatre, and the outcome of the operation was a massive success. We were even given the footage of the surgery, which speaks to the level of confidence the team have in their work. A few days after the operation, Dr Plevris took time to take us through the footage, which was above and beyond our expectations. After returning to the UK, Dr Plevris continued to provide support to my wife and monitor her recovery. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of service we received from Dr Plevris and his team. They were simply amazing and handled our case with professionalism and empathy.
